We celebrate the oldest Liturgy in the Church, the St. James Traditional and Regular Liturgy (Mass) (Quiddisha Qurbana in Aramaic) in English, which is the center of our liturgical life. On the first Sunday of the month we celebrate a Charismatic type Healing Liturgy (Mass)   The faithful receive, in holy Communion, the divine presence of  Christ’s body and blood, through the Epiclesis (invocation of Holy Spirit to consecrate the bread and the wine of the Eucharist ) under the appearance of leavened bread and wine. The Holy Liturgy (Mass) can only be celebrated by an ordained priest and canonical relationship with his Vicar Bishop and Metropolitan in our Tradition and jurisdiction. We also celebrate before every Liturgy (Mass) the Prothesis Liturgy (Mass)

NOTE: Roman Catholics, Eastern Rite Catholics and Eastern Orthodox Christians are allowed to receive Holy Communion in our Church on special occasions providing they believe and partake in the seven sacraments and believe in the true divine presence to Jesus Christ in the consecrated bread (body of Christ) and the consecrated wine  (blood of Christ).

The 7 Sacraments of our Church:

The holy mysteries include holy baptism and chrismation (confirmation). These two ministries are never separated. We baptize and confirm at birth infants, youth and adults. Additional sacraments include holy confession or absolution (which also occurs during the holy liturgy and individually in cases of serious sin), holy orders, (our OCA-UAOC priest and bishops can be married or celibate) which affects all the other holy mysteries. Traditional only holy matrimony between a man and woman and holy unction, the anointing of the sick and the receiving of holy communion (the body and blood of Jesus Christ).

Other Church Services include Bible Study, Seminary Training, Holy Rosary and Jesus Rope Prayer and house blessings.

Our Stance:

As part of the One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church, we stand on the faith in Jesus Christ as the incarnate Son of God. We also believe and venerate the Theotokos, the Mother of God, and pray the Holy Rosary and Jesus Rope Prayer before the Sunday morning Mass.  We stand on the Holy Scriptures as the divinely inspired word of God, written by holy men (the Apostoles of the Church), under the direction and inspiration of Holy Spirit containing all things necessary for our salvation.

Receiving Holy Communion

Members of our Church of the East, OCA-UAOC are urged to respect the discipline of our own Orthodox Churches. According to Roman Catholic discipline, the Code of Canon Law does not object to the reception of communion by Christians of our Orthodox Church. The point is that our Orthodox Church of the East clergy and parishioners should be able to receive Holy Communion on special occasions in the Roman Catholic Church. (Canon 844 S3). Our Orthodox Church of the East priests can also on special occasions distribute Holy Communion to Roman Catholics. We all must pray for unity with-in our Catholic/Orthodox Churches.

Other Services:

In addition to our Weekend Worship Services, (Divine Liturgy) we have Bible studies, Seminary Training for future priests. and Special Teachings on Orthodoxy and conduct House Blessings.
